YOU ARE EVSRA We can’t hold a race without you. Each EVSRA regatta requires up to 75 volunteers to help with jobs as varied as running motor launches to filling out award ribbons. Volunteerism is so deeply imbedded in our values that we even have added it to our Statement of Principles.

There are also links that tell you what to expect as an EVSRA volunteer and let you contact us for more information. This work is fun and rewarding. We look forward to having you join us soon.

Our Regatta Commission plans all of our events with each EVSRA member team assuming season long responsibility for a specific function. When your team registers for a regatta we ask for the names of three additional volunteers to help fill in the gaps that inevitably develop and then assign those volunteers as needed. Volunteering for these ever positions is great way to learn about rowing and to meet the wonderful people in our group. Please tell your coach or volunteer liaison that you are willing to help. There is a lot to be done as part of your team’s contribution to our regattas.
